May Illumicrate Unboxing

So May is an illumicrate month and I was so excited to receive my box. Illumicrate dosn’t do themes just general bookish items.

This months box included:

Feyre mug. I am a big fan of the ACOTAR and love mugs so this is a great item for me. Feyre is one of my favourite female characters as she has so much growth though out the series. 

Mermaid Lagoon Candle exclusively from Flickerink. This candle smells amazing. It has a tropic scent and smells like the sea. I already follow Flickerink on instagram and love all there items.

Swish and flick key ring from Nutmeg and Arlo. This is such a cute keyring and the colour is exclusive to this box.

Enchanted Door hanger and Print by TJ Lubrano. This is such beautiful artwork of the beauty and the beast characters. The door hanger is too pretty to use as a door hanger as I don’t want it ruined. Love this print will find a place to put it up by my books.

Map bookmark by Penguin Co. Again an exclusive design for the box. I love these types of bookmarks. This one is so pretty and will definitely be using it when I start reading the books from the box.

This months featured book is Truth or Dare by Non Pratt. 

 The book is signed and comes with a letter from the author.This book is about friendship, secret identities and internet fame. The book looks really interesting and is written very uniquely. You read the first half then flip the book and read the second. I can’t wait to get reading.

Extras from windfall, the gender games, Taste of blue light and a advanced reader copy of The Waking Land by Callie Bates with a bookmark and author letter. 

The extras in this book are just as good as the actual box items. I really like the postcards the artwork on the is beautiful. I can’t believe they list a ARC as an extra. It is a whole other book. This book sounds just as interesting as the main book. It is about a girl who was taken hostage after her fathers rebellion failed. Fourteen years later her fathers plans to take her back to use her as a figure head to attempt a rebellion again cliaming she has mythical powers. What no one knows is that magic really does run in her veins.
I really liked this months box and look forward to reading both books included.
