What my writing process looks like

I get asked a lot about my writing process and how I manage to find time to write. I don’t really know what to tell people when they ask me these questions so I decided to show you what my writing process looks like in pictures.

I generally start by planning my week. My plan then ends up being thrown out the window on day one.

My writing process generally involves a lot of tea drinking

I get interrupted by children a lot. they will walk past there dad who is doing nothing important to come disturb me.

My desk is always a mess so I often end up working somewhere else.

The kids are not the only ones that like to come take over my work

Sometimes I actually manage a decent word count

And sometimes I stare at a blank screen

I like to keep a notebook on me so I can drop down ideas when they hit. Sometimes my notes don’t make sense even to me.

I basically go with the flow and try and write where I can. I write because it is what I love to do. It actually started out as a form of therapy for me and grew into something more.
